In order to be eligible for a Medicare Part D (prescription drug plan), you must meet each of the following requirements:
- You must be enrolled in Part A only. You did not need to have Part B to get Medicare Part D (drug coverage).
- You can be under 65 or over 65.
- You must live in a state that sells the plan you are interested in purchasing. Not all plans are available in every state.
