The card can also be used to pay for health care services not covered by Medicare, such as dental, vision and hearing care. The Medicare Flex Card is not an insurance policy, and it does not replace Medicare coverage.

Under new, special circumstances for 2022, you can now enroll in Medicare Part A and/or Part B outside of the General Enrollment Period.
