Medicare Eligibility:
To be eligible for Medicare you must be a US citizen or a permanent resident that has resided in the US
for 5 consecutive years.
Qualify for Medicare (Medicare Age)
You can qualify for Medicare if you are under 65 and have been collecting Social Security Disability Benefits for 24 consecutive months. Or if you are under 65 with certain disabilities, such as Lou Gehrigs disease or in stage renal disease that requires dialysis treatments or an organ transplant. And if you are age 65 or older.
Sign up for Medicare (Applying for Medicare)
Depending on your situation, applying for Medicare may be automatic. But, in some instances, you will have to sign up for Medicare yourself (enrollment is not automatic). Call us at 866-633-4427 and we will help determine if your enrollment in Part B Medicare is automatic or not.
