Medicare Supplement Plan N:
What Is It & What Does It Cover?

Medicare Supplement Insurance Plan N is one of the newer Medigap plans approved by Medicare in 2010. In some cases Medigap Premiums for plan N can be up to 40% less than that of the Medigap Plan F .

Only after the policy holder has satisfied the Medicare Part B deductible, Medigap Plan N will have a co-payment at the physician office that will not exceed $20 per visit and a $50 co-payment for emergency room visits. Some physician visits may even result in lower copay, if any. Learn more about the Medigap Plan N co-pay structure.

Because Medicare Supplement Plan N provides the flexibility to choose any provider nationwide and consumers are already familiar with the co-pay concept, Medicare Supplement Plan N has proven to be a great transition for Medicare Advantage customers that are tired of being restricted.
